Okie, im back!! I know I took a long break from blogging and mailing. Thanks a lot for the kinship of keeping in touch. Neil yes, I have successfully passed my surgery paper long time back! Just dint have the time to tell you. Sorry. Well, let me see what’s exciting in my life. Yes, I had my clinical genetics cycle last week. It dint turn out as I anticipated, you know, scheming the progeny and stuff. I practically watched abortions everyday. The procedure was completely different; I have seen vacuum suction but not this. First the mother was draped, without anesthesia. She was 7 months pregnant, her baby had a cyst on her left kidney and the right kidney was completely not functioning. Then, the baby was traced to be crippled. Let’s see, ultrasound was done, found the heart, areas with amniotic fluid and then a huge needle was pierced into the abdomen to the amniotic fluid. Ok, I thought they were going to drain the fluid out, the amniotic fluid, I was wrong. They actually punctured the heart of the baby and were draining the blood out. I was turning blue I think, cause my classmates were looking at me. Eventually, everyone was turning blue. Then, for 13 times the amniotic fluid was drained out (absolutely) and was replaced by sodium chloride. I mean, the heart was still pounding slowly, and they are practically going to dehydrate the baby to death. Geez. After 24 hours, the mother delivers a still born baby. The idea of aborting a child after 5 months was really astounding. In Malaysia, as I know, no babies were aborted after such period of time. It would be treacherous for the mother, I suppose. I had this cycle for 6 days.
Well, right now, im with hygiene cycle. Not a heavy subject for sure. Im packaging up my semester very soon. Heading back to Malaysia on the 28th of June. My exams are around the corner, 3 papers, radiology, hygiene and operative surgery.
Raj and Mike was here today, updating some luscious secrets. Rahul was sweet enough to buy some mini pizzas and come over. I rearranged my room today. And now its 12.40am and yet I don’t have plans to stroke my book. Laziness knocking in, I do plan to sleep but I have some topics to cover, so do take care, I don’t promise to update my blog daily, but I’ll do it time to time, till then! Have fun
